Head Lice Informational Presentations
You are required to do a comb-out out every 2 days for 12 days with our lice comb. Dampening or wetting the hair and applying conditioner help makes for a smoother detangling and combing process. It is recommended that after every 8 passes on the same section of hair, you wipe off both sides of the comb on white paper towel to inspect for lice and/or eggs. Continue combing until you see no louse and/or egg coming off of the comb. Rinse all individual(s) hair thoroughly after each comb out and let them wear fresh clothing.
We recommend that you vacuum your environment today and place all article of clothing worn this day by the individual(s) combed-out for head lice, bedding such as pillowcases, flat and/or fitted sheets, comforters or duvet covers or related items in a dryer on high heat for 20-30 minutes. Items that cannot be placed in the dryer or vacuumed should be set aside for 24-72 hours.
We recommend to not spray your home with pesticides to get rid of head lice. We encourage you to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
